Alexis and Patrick met on Sunday, June 12th, 2021. Alexis was living in NYC and decided to live in LA for a month casually mentioned that she wanted to check out the Silverlake neighborhood Patrick, ever so smoothly, asked if she wanted to grab drinks there on Sunday. She showed up 10-40 minutes late (depends on who you ask) but she had good reason to -- she saw JLO walking down the street beforehand and followed her around. Alexis also forgot to take off her mask for the first 5 minutes of their date and they had a good laugh about it - which put her instantly at ease (and Patrick too, that she wasn't hiding a missing a tooth!). A few drinks later, they decided to grab dinner together and ventured around Silverlake trying to get into a restaurant. After a few failed attempts, Patrick said he had just the spot and took her to the most romantic, historical LA restaurant -- Pace in Laurel Canyon (the location of the photos you see on this website!)

They ended up spending every available moment together for those next few weeks. Pat toured her around and showed her all the best spots, something he will admit later was in effort to get her to fall in love with LA and move there someday. Unsure of what was to come, they sadly said their goodbyes and Alexis went home to NY.

Then, what began as once a week catch-up phone calls turned into multiple daily Facetimes and countless cross country flights.

After a year of long distance, Alexis got the green light from work to move to LA and their two hearts nearly jumped out of their chests that they could "do life together"
